# Vietnamese by Nemo vs Tagalog Learning

The clearest difference is ads: Vietnamese by Nemo at none against Tagalog Learning's shown. Vietnamese by Nemo also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 28) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). Tagalog Learning's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 84%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vietnamese by Nemo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tagalog Learning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Vietnamese by Nemo against 4.7 for Tagalog Learning. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vietnamese by Nemo has 1.4K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two.
