# Memrise vs IPLP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IPLP at none against Memrise's 10. IPLP also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Memrise's advantage is ratings volume (218K vs 1) and chart position (#207 vs unranked). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memrise sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. IPLP asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPLP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memrise has 218K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
