# Plexiword vs Blankety

The clearest difference is ads: Blankety at none against Plexiword's shown. Plexiword's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 9) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plexiword sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Blankety sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Plexiword holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plexiword has 3.3K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Plexiword's written reviews are positive against 88% of Blankety's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
