# Logic Remote vs LK

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Logic Remote at none against LK's 8. Logic Remote also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (7K vs 706). LK's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (64% vs 44%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LK sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Logic Remote asks for nothing beyond the download.

Logic Remote holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Logic Remote has 7K ratings behind it against 706, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Logic Remote's written reviews are positive against 64% of LK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Logic Remote ships an update every 6 months, LK fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
