# Global vs Earth++

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Earth++ at 285 against Global's 51. Global's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 50%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Global sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per year and Earth++ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Global against 4.4 for Earth++. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Earth++ has 285 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of Global's written reviews are positive against 50% of Earth++'s.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
