# Seismic Software vs Clari

The clearest difference is rating: Clari at 4.7 against Seismic Software's 4.0. Clari also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 60) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Seismic Software's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Clari holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clari has 1.1K ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 33% and 33% positive.

Seismic Software ships an update every 2 weeks, Clari monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
