# Rendez vs Funburg

The clearest difference is rating: Rendez at 4.9 against Funburg's 4.4. Rendez also leads on ratings volume (945 vs 7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Funburg's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (45% vs 34%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rendez holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rendez has 945 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Rendez's written reviews are positive against 45% of Funburg's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rendez ships an update fortnightly, Funburg every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
