# Rendez vs SOHO

Rendez and SOHO both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of SOHO's written reviews are positive against 34% of Rendez's. SOHO also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Rendez's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (920 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Rendez against 5.0 for SOHO. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rendez has 920 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Rendez's written reviews are positive against 80% of SOHO's.

Rendez ships an update fortnightly, SOHO every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
