# Rendez vs SuperStep

Rendez and SuperStep both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 34% of Rendez's written reviews are positive against 7% of SuperStep's. Rendez also leads on ratings volume (867 vs 87) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). SuperStep's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Rendez against 4.8 for SuperStep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rendez has 867 ratings behind it against 87, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Rendez's written reviews are positive against 7% of SuperStep's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
