# Rendez vs Rieker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Rieker at free against Rendez's free with in-app purchases. Rendez's advantage is ratings volume (934 vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Rendez against 5.0 for Rieker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rendez has 934 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rendez ships an update fortnightly, Rieker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
