# FineScale Modeler vs Face Shape

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Face Shape at 61% against FineScale Modeler's 2%. Face Shape also leads on rating (4.4 vs 2.4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). FineScale Modeler's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FineScale Modeler sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Face Shape sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Face Shape holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Face Shape has 265 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two.
