# Astro AWANI vs BERNAMA

The clearest difference is rating: BERNAMA at 5.0 against Astro AWANI's 4.3. BERNAMA also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Astro AWANI's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (27 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BERNAMA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astro AWANI has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Astro AWANI's written reviews are positive against 50% of BERNAMA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
