# l'Opinion vs Les Jours

The clearest difference is rating: Les Jours at 5.0 against l'Opinion's 3.2. Les Jours also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 weeks). l'Opinion's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. l'Opinion sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Les Jours sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Les Jours holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: l'Opinion has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of l'Opinion's written reviews are positive against 54% of Les Jours's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

l'Opinion ships an update every 4 weeks, Les Jours every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
