# Racemap vs Nexotick

The clearest difference is rating: Nexotick at 5.0 against Racemap's 4.0. Nexotick also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Racemap's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nexotick holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Racemap has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Racemap ships an update every 6 weeks, Nexotick every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
