# Secure Notepad Pro vs Lockbook

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lockbook at weekly against Secure Notepad Pro's every 5 months. Lockbook also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Secure Notepad Pro's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 14) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure Notepad Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lockbook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
