# Zoho Scanner vs Scan Now

The clearest difference is ads: Zoho Scanner at none against Scan Now's shown. Zoho Scanner also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1). Scan Now's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 78%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zoho Scanner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Scan Now sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zoho Scanner holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 89 and 259 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Zoho Scanner's written reviews are positive against 89% of Scan Now's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
