# Pizza Bomb vs Doodle Sub

The clearest difference is ads: Doodle Sub at none against Pizza Bomb's shown. Doodle Sub also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 14.7). Pizza Bomb's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and ratings volume (26 vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pizza Bomb sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Doodle Sub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Doodle Sub holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pizza Bomb has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Pizza Bomb's written reviews are positive against 86% of Doodle Sub's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pizza Bomb ships an update every 2 months, Doodle Sub every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
