# TBM Performance vs FLT DIR

The clearest difference is update cadence: FLT DIR at every 2 weeks against TBM Performance's every 2 months. FLT DIR also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TBM Performance holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 39 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of TBM Performance's written reviews are positive against 90% of FLT DIR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TBM Performance ships an update every 2 months, FLT DIR every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
