# Ultimate 500 vs Skippo

The clearest difference is price: Skippo at Free against Ultimate 500's $0.99. Skippo also leads on rating (3.7 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (290 vs 4). Ultimate 500's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (34% vs 20%). On update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Skippo is free to download; Ultimate 500 costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Skippo holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skippo has 290 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Ultimate 500's written reviews are positive against 20% of Skippo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ultimate 500 ships an update every 2 weeks, Skippo weekly. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
