# Talk Timer Clock vs Event Timers

The clearest difference is monetization model: Talk Timer Clock at free against Event Timers's freemium. Talk Timer Clock also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 16.6). Event Timers's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talk Timer Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Event Timers sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talk Timer Clock ships an update every 9 months, Event Timers every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
