# 11+ English Practice Papers vs Math Shed

The clearest difference is rating: 11+ English Practice Papers at 5.0 against Math Shed's 4.2. 11+ English Practice Papers also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Math Shed's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and ratings volume (70 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 11+ English Practice Papers sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Math Shed asks for nothing beyond the download.

11+ English Practice Papers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Shed has 70 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of 11+ English Practice Papers's written reviews are positive against 64% of Math Shed's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

11+ English Practice Papers ships an update monthly, Math Shed every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
