# JamCat vs autoscrolly

The clearest difference is update cadence: autoscrolly at every 6 days against JamCat's every 3 months. JamCat's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JamCat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and autoscrolly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JamCat ships an update every 3 months, autoscrolly every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
