# ComicShare vs Mana Viewer

The clearest difference is price: Mana Viewer at Free against ComicShare's $3.99. Mana Viewer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 weeks). ComicShare's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (85% vs 55%). On in-app purchases, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Mana Viewer is free to download; ComicShare costs $3.99 up front. ComicShare sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Mana Viewer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mana Viewer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ComicShare has 47 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of ComicShare's written reviews are positive against 55% of Mana Viewer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ComicShare ships an update every 4 weeks, Mana Viewer every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
