# Mobile Security Camera vs GrusHome

The clearest difference is rating: GrusHome at 5.0 against Mobile Security Camera's 3.7. GrusHome also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Mobile Security Camera's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile Security Camera sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and GrusHome sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GrusHome holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Security Camera has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mobile Security Camera ships an update monthly, GrusHome every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
