# Radios Canada vs Connect Media Network

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Connect Media Network at none against Radios Canada's 1. Connect Media Network also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Radios Canada's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Radios Canada sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Connect Media Network asks for nothing beyond the download.

Connect Media Network holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Radios Canada's written reviews are positive against 75% of Connect Media Network's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Radios Canada ships an update every 7 months, Connect Media Network every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
