# RichiScratcher vs Scratch Quest

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scratch Quest at monthly against RichiScratcher's every 13 months. Scratch Quest also leads on iOS requirement (14.4 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RichiScratcher sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Scratch Quest sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RichiScratcher ships an update every 13 months, Scratch Quest monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
