# Inch Converter vs Construction Calculator

The clearest difference is price: Construction Calculator at Free against Inch Converter's $0.99. Construction Calculator also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months). Inch Converter's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9). On review sentiment, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Construction Calculator is free to download; Inch Converter costs $0.99 up front. Construction Calculator sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Inch Converter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Construction Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Construction Calculator has 681 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Inch Converter's written reviews are positive against 54% of Construction Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Inch Converter ships an update every 6 months, Construction Calculator every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
