# Inch Converter vs Chippy Tools

The clearest difference is price: Chippy Tools at Free against Inch Converter's $0.99. Chippy Tools also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 months). Inch Converter's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10). On review sentiment, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Chippy Tools is free to download; Inch Converter costs $0.99 up front. Chippy Tools sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Inch Converter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chippy Tools holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chippy Tools has 905 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Inch Converter's written reviews are positive against 55% of Chippy Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Inch Converter ships an update every 6 months, Chippy Tools every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
