# Pizza Compass vs &pizza

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pizza Compass at 74% against &pizza's 33%. Pizza Compass also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). &pizza's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

&pizza holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: &pizza has 13K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Pizza Compass's written reviews are positive against 33% of &pizza's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pizza Compass ships an update every 5 months, &pizza weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
