# Vista InTouch vs Ecotrak

The clearest difference is rating: Vista InTouch at 5.0 against Ecotrak's 4.2. Vista InTouch also leads on iOS requirement (7.1 vs 16.6). Ecotrak's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vista InTouch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ecotrak has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Vista InTouch's written reviews are positive against 80% of Ecotrak's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
