# Yoruba101 vs Innovative Language Learning

The clearest difference is rating: Innovative Language Learning at 4.7 against Yoruba101's 3.5. Innovative Language Learning also leads on ratings volume (34K vs 11) and device support (4 vs 1). Yoruba101's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 14.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yoruba101 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Innovative Language Learning sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Innovative Language Learning holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Innovative Language Learning has 34K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Yoruba101's written reviews are positive against 67% of Innovative Language Learning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yoruba101 ships an update every 3 months, Innovative Language Learning every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
