# MyChamplainValley vs FOX Bangor

The clearest difference is rating: MyChamplainValley at 4.6 against FOX Bangor's 3.3. MyChamplainValley also leads on ratings volume (377 vs 3). FOX Bangor's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyChamplainValley holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyChamplainValley has 377 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of MyChamplainValley's written reviews are positive against 100% of FOX Bangor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyChamplainValley ships an update every 6 weeks, FOX Bangor monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
