# Slopes vs N'PY

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: N'PY at none against Slopes's 4. Slopes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slopes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per year. N'PY asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Slopes against 5.0 for N'PY. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slopes has 88K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Slopes's written reviews are positive against 76% of N'PY's.

Slopes ships an update every 9 days, N'PY every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
