# GOL vs Darth Minion

The clearest difference is rating: GOL at 4.5 against Darth Minion's 3.8. GOL also leads on ratings volume (66 vs 12). Darth Minion's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GOL sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Darth Minion sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GOL holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GOL has 66 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of GOL's written reviews are positive against 100% of Darth Minion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GOL ships an update every 3 weeks, Darth Minion weekly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
