# GOL vs Impossible Soccer!

The clearest difference is rating: GOL at 4.5 against Impossible Soccer!'s 3.3. GOL also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (66 vs 3). Impossible Soccer!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GOL sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Impossible Soccer! asks for nothing beyond the download.

GOL holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GOL has 66 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of GOL's written reviews are positive against 100% of Impossible Soccer!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GOL ships an update every 3 weeks, Impossible Soccer! every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
