# GOL vs Vector Jet

The clearest difference is rating: Vector Jet at 5.0 against GOL's 4.5. Vector Jet also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (4.3 vs 15.0). GOL's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 6) and review sentiment (86% vs 78%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GOL sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Vector Jet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vector Jet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GOL has 66 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of GOL's written reviews are positive against 78% of Vector Jet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GOL ships an update every 3 weeks, Vector Jet every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
