# Bushel vs Tend Companion App

The clearest difference is rating: Bushel at 5.0 against Tend Companion App's 3.2. Bushel also leads on chart position (#102 vs unranked). Tend Companion App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bushel sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $8.49 per month. Tend Companion App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bushel holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tend Companion App has 27 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Bushel's written reviews are positive against 50% of Tend Companion App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bushel ships an update every 2 months, Tend Companion App weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
