# Hover vs VibeShip

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VibeShip at 100% against Hover's 33%. VibeShip also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.9) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Hover's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (99 vs 8). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VibeShip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hover has 99 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Hover's written reviews are positive against 100% of VibeShip's.

Hover ships an update every 2 weeks, VibeShip every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
