# Homaxi View vs Alta Networks

The clearest difference is rating: Homaxi View at 5.0 against Alta Networks's 4.5. Alta Networks's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 57%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Homaxi View holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Homaxi View's written reviews are positive against 82% of Alta Networks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Homaxi View ships an update every 2 months, Alta Networks every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
