# Realtime vs HopNet

The clearest difference is update cadence: HopNet at every 2 days against Realtime's every 5 days. Realtime's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Realtime ships an update every 5 days, HopNet every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
