# Mood vs Elants

The clearest difference is ads: Elants at none against Mood's shown. Elants also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 months). Mood's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mood sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Elants sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mood ships an update every 8 months, Elants every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
