# Mood vs Diary!?

The clearest difference is ads: Diary!? at none against Mood's shown. Diary!? also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mood sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Diary!? sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mood ships an update every 8 months, Diary!? every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
