# Azure ECM vs Electrical Toolkit by HCP

The clearest difference is update cadence: Electrical Toolkit by HCP at every 8 days against Azure ECM's every 2 months. Electrical Toolkit by HCP also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (68 vs 5). Azure ECM's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Electrical Toolkit by HCP holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Electrical Toolkit by HCP has 68 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Azure ECM's written reviews are positive against 86% of Electrical Toolkit by HCP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Azure ECM ships an update every 2 months, Electrical Toolkit by HCP every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
