# SPINNAX vs Skategrounds

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SPINNAX at none against Skategrounds's 1. Skategrounds's advantage is ratings volume (37 vs 2) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skategrounds sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.00 per year. SPINNAX asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SPINNAX against 4.9 for Skategrounds. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skategrounds has 37 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
