# kommu vs Cercles

The clearest difference is monetization model: kommu at freemium against Cercles's subscription. kommu also leads on ratings volume (124 vs 6). Cercles's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. kommu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $37.00 per month and Cercles sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $199.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
