# Five Tasks vs Minimalist Launcher

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Minimalist Launcher at 86% against Five Tasks's 50%. Minimalist Launcher also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 16). Five Tasks's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minimalist Launcher sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Five Tasks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Five Tasks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minimalist Launcher has 3.6K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Five Tasks's written reviews are positive against 86% of Minimalist Launcher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
