# Proton Pass vs Zenith Agent

Proton Pass and Zenith Agent both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Zenith Agent's written reviews are positive against 68% of Proton Pass's. Proton Pass's advantage is ratings volume (8.7K vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proton Pass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $35.90 per year and Zenith Agent sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zenith Agent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proton Pass has 8.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Proton Pass's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zenith Agent's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
