# Widget Pro vs Widgets 27

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Widgets 27 at 41% against Widget Pro's 0%. Widgets 27 also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 2). Widget Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Widgets 27 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widget Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widgets 27 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Widget Pro's written reviews are positive against 41% of Widgets 27's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widget Pro ships an update every 6 weeks, Widgets 27 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
