# Funtoms vs FlipFrame

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlipFrame at every 10 days against Funtoms's every 23 months. Funtoms's advantage is iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Funtoms sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and FlipFrame sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Funtoms ships an update every 23 months, FlipFrame every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
