# Emotion Tracker vs Celestial Sanctuary

The clearest difference is ads: Emotion Tracker at none against Celestial Sanctuary's shown. Celestial Sanctuary's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emotion Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Celestial Sanctuary sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emotion Tracker ships an update every 2 months, Celestial Sanctuary every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
